"THERE IS A PATH"

Job 28:7-28. James 1:5-3:15,16,17

Introduction:

There is a path for God's people to walk there in. It is the same path

that Jesus walked while he was here on this earth. It is found in this

blessed old Book. It is not found in the world. The Bible says you can not

have this world and Jesus too. You can not serve God and Mammon at the same

time. You will love one and hate the other, If you want Wisdom to walk this

path you must love God with all your heart and with all your mind and serve

him with all your heart. Solomon Loved God and served him, that is why he

got his prayer answered in I Kings 3:3 He was walking in the statues of God

and keeping his commandments. It wasn't just to show up in church on Sunday

mornings. It was a 7 day a week thing with Solomon. Look at Job , Job was a

righteous man in the sight of God, But in Chapter 29 He started to become

self-righteous. in his own eyes. 32: 1-5.

I. WHERE IS THIS PATH,OR WHERE IS THE PLACE OF WISDOM?? Job 28:12- 1 Cor.1:30- James 1:5,6 It is not found in this world Jas.3:15

(a) Solomon found  it in I Kings 3:9

(b) He asked God Jas. 1:5

c) He received from God. I Kings 3:12

II. TO FIND WISDOM YOU MUST FIRST : Job 28:28- Proverbs 9:10

(a) Get understanding.

(b) To get understanding you must depart from EVIL

(c) To depart from EVIL you must get Salvation:

(d) To get Salvation you must find Jesus Christ as personal savior. I Cor. 1:30

(e) To get Salvation you must get Repentance

(f) Repentance Brings a new life, then you are eligible to ask God for wisdom. as did Solomon.

III JOB 29-32 HIS SELF-RIGHTEOUS.

(a) Self righteousness is no earthly good, you must walk humble before God (b) Old men are not all ways wise.32:9

(c)This world is confused, a lot of worldly wisdom is about, these days.

(d)The world hated Jesus , it will hate you, if you are living for Him.

       I submit to you, that if we as Christians continue to let our children have

their way and this Government has it's way, We will see more and more

murders, more school shooting, more abortions, more dope and alcohol in our

schools. If we do not come back to the old paths of this blessed old Bible

(KJV) we are doomed. But then on the other hand Is it not just like Jesus

said it would be, as in the days of Noah, as it was in the days of Lot.

Prov. 23:15. The rod and reproof gives WISDOM, But a child left to himself

will bring his mother to shame.

Two boys in Colorado brought shame to their mother, a couple of weeks ago.

We as Christians had better pay attention to what our children are doing in

their spare time and quit worrying about our selves.

There is a lot of worldly wisdom in Washington these days , But No Godly

Wisdom!!!!!!!! It is the wisdom of a world in a state of confusion!!!!!
